NYC Apartment
Renovations of a 2-Bedroom, 2-Bath Apartment in a ca. 1920 Building in a Historic District The apartment owner selected Architect Ira Shapiro to design renovations to his upper west side coop.
His four major goals included:
- Creation an architectural component that would provide both separation from and interconnection with the living room and den;
- Installation of central A/C and reduction of the size of the existing steam radiators;
- Gut-renovation of the kitchen; and
- Gut-renovation of the main bathroom.
